On Deepanshu's 13th birthday instead of distributing sweets he decided to distribute fruits among poor children as he knew the value of fruits and vegetables in their daily diet. They are rich source of vitamins and minerals that keeps us healthy and disease free, so he brought a bag full of fruits. There were 20kg of fruits in his bag. If 43/6kg fruits were oranges, 26/3kg of these fruits were apples and 25/6kg were grapes. All the children enjoyed the fruits presented to them by Deepanshu which gave immense pleasure and happiness to Deepanshu.

Solution:-

Let the quantity of grapes is 'x' kg.

So, according to the question.

x/1 Kg + 43/6 kg + 26/3 kg = 20 kg

Taking L.C.M. of the denominators and then solving it, we get.

(6x + 43 + 52)/6 = 20

6x + 95 = 20*6

6x = 120 - 95

6x = 25

x = 25/6 Kg

So, the grapes are 25/6 kilograms.

Or, 4.166 kg
