Step-by-step explanation:

According to uclid division lemma

a=bq+r

or

a/q

n=9q+7

3n-1= 3(9q+7) -1

= 27q+21 -1

= 27q+20

if any number divide by 9 then remainder will be 0 to 8

so

here we get remainder = 20

then devide 20 /9

we get 2 as remainder

your anser is 2.
