On dividing the volume of a sphere by its surface area the result is 12cm.find the diameter of sphere and its surface area.

volume of a sphere = 4/3 pi r^3
surface area=4pi r^2
V/S=12 cm
{4/3 pi r^3}/{4pi r^2]=12
r=36 cm
diameter=2r=72 cm
surface area = 4pi r^2
                      =4*3.14*36*36
                      =16286.01 cm^2   answer
