Division is a method, which performs the operation to separate.

According this question we have to divide:-

 \frac{x}{5}    by \frac{5}{x}

⇒  \frac{x}{5}    ÷ \frac{5}{x}

⇒   \frac{x}{5}   ×  \frac{5}{x}

⇒   x²/5²

⇒ x²/ 25

Hence On dividing x/5 by 5/x , we get x²/ 25.

Ans :- On dividing x/5 by 5/x , we get x²/ 25.

x^2/25

Given

  • x/5
  • 5/x

To find

  • the result after both are divided.

Solution

we are provided with two numbers containing variables and are asked to estimate the final value after division.

we know that division of two fractions must be carried out after taking the reciprocal of the second fraction. ie,

step 1

x/5 ÷ 5/x

or, x/5 × (x/5) ( taking reciprocal of the second fraction)

step 2

Now we could simply multiply both the fractions to arrive at our final solution.

ie,

x/5 × (x/5)

or, x^2/25

Therefore, our final solution for the question would be x^2/25.
