G(x)  = x² -x  + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

P(x) = x³ - 3x²  + x  + 2

g(x) = ?

q(x) = x - 2

r(x) = -2x + 4

P(x) = q(x)G(x) + r

=>  x³ - 3x²  + x  + 2 = (x-2)G(x) -2x + 4

=> (x-2)G(x)  =  x³ - 3x²  + 3x  - 2

=> (x-2)G(x)  =  (x - 2)(x² -x  + 1)

=> G(x)  = x² -x  + 1
