Answer:

p(x) = x³-3x²+x+2

q(x) = x-2

r(x) = -2x+4

g(x) = ?

we know that,

p(x) = g(x) * q(x) + r(x)

x³-3x²+x+2 = g(x) *x-2 + (-2x+4)

x³-3x²+x+2 +(-2x+4) = g(x) * x-2

x³-3x²-x+6 /(x-2) = g(x)

x-2 ) x³-3x²-x+6 ( x²-x-3 -----------g(x)

x³-2x²

------------------

-x²-x

-x²+2x

------------------

-3x+6

-3x+6

--------------------

0

that is g(x) = x²-x-3
