On Earth, a ball is dropped and falls 2.0m in a vacuum.

The acceleration of the ball at 1.0 m is 10 m / s2

What is the acceleration of the ball at 0.5 m?

That would be 10m/s²,now g=9.8m/s² and that is uniform acceleration of any object falling freely on the earth and by changing the 's' means distance , the acceleration can't be changed , so it won't change or either make any difference
