on electrolysis of pottassium iodide the pottasium ions wil move towards the negatively charged electrode called the cathode while the iodide ions will move towards the positively charged electrode called the anode. At the end of the experiment pottasium solids deposits will solidify at the cathode wile the gas that will appear at the anode is iodine gas
