In simple way, solubility = mass of solute/mass of solvent × 100
Here , mass of solute = 0.72 g
mass of solvent = mass of solution - mass of solute = 2.72 - 0.72 =2 g
now, solubility = 0.72/2 × 100 = 72/2 = 36
