Hello Dear.

Good Question and your answer is here.

Given---

Mass of Solution = 2.72 grams

Mass of Solute (Precipitates) = 0.72 grams.

Mass of Solvent = Mass of Solution - Mass of Solute
                               = 2.72 - 0.72
                               = 2 grams.

Using the Formula,

 Solubility% = (Mass of Solute/Mass of Solvent) × 100%
                    = (0.72/2) × 100%
                    = 0.36 × 100%
                    = 36 %

Thus, the Solubility of the Substance would be 36%.

I anticipate it will help u.

Have a Marvelous Day.

Solubility :- an amount of solute that can dissolve in given amount of solvent.
In simple way, solubility = \bold{\frac{\text{mass of solute}}{\text{mass of solvent}}\times100}

Here , mass of solute ( precipitates) = 0.72 g
mass of solvent = mass of solution - mass of solute = 2.72 - 0.72 =2 g
now, solubility = 0.72/2 × 100 = 72/2 = 36

Hence solubility of substance is 36.
