Mass of hydrated BaCl2 = 1.763g

Mass of dry BaCl2 = 1.505 g

Mass of Water = 1.763 - 1.505 = 0.258g

Number of moles of water = 0.25818=0.014

Number of moles of BaCl2=1.505208=0.007

Ratio of moles of BaCl2 to water = 0.007 : 0.014 = 1:2

∴ formula of the hydrated salt = BaCl2.2H2O

Answer:

Hey mishra ji

listen go to basics of chemistry. there could be many sln :

1.USING POAC

Explanation:in this method u neednt to balance eqn ,directly equalise the atoms

2.USING CONCEPT : just use empiracal formulae concept to find out in one line u will get 1:2 =bacl2:h2o . or3.BY % RULE :take h2o as x and find out % w/w and equalise it with the given info . problem solving is a nice process just make ur concepts strong and u will solve all questions of stichiometry and mole concept ,eudiometry easily .Hope this will motivate and help uuu
