On her birthday Reena had one third of cake and gave rest to her three friend. What part of cake did each one get?

let the total cake be X

then Reena got 1/3 X cake

cake left = 2/3

she gave it to three of her friends

cake each person got= 2/3÷3 i.e. 2/9

so each of her friend got 2/9 part of cake
