On her first day of work at a convenience store, Jaya charged the wrong tax all day. She thought the sales tax rate was 5%, when it was actually 4%. The total amount of money Jaya collected was 25, 200. THE estimated Difference between the actual amount of money that should have been collected and the wrongly collected money collected by Jaya is.
(1) between ₹200 and ₹300
(2) more than ₹300
(3) less than ₹100
(4) between ₹100 and ₹200

let the cost of items sold with out sales tax be = C 
She collected  105% * C = 25, 200
Should should have collected  104% * C.

Difference = 1% of C  = 25, 200 / 105  

so     between  200  and 300

actual cost 25200-1260=23940
Actual sale-23940
add 4% tax i.e 957
difference 1260-957=303

so i right....
