For finding displacement we will use head to tail rule

Distance covered North = 300 meters

Distance covered East = 400 meters

or

Base = 400

perpendicular = 300

so

Hypotenuse = √ ( B square + P square)

H = √ ( 400×400 + 300×300 )

H = 500 Meters

Hence displacement will be 500 meters
