Total number of children = 160

No.of children present on the actual day = 130

Let,

The no.of chocolates distributed for each child among 160 children = x

no.of chocolates distributed to each child among 130 children = x+3

Then

160(x) = (x+3)130

160x = 130x+390

30x = 390

x = 390/30

x = 13

Therefore,

no.of chocolates distributed to each child among 130 children = x+3 = 13 + 3 = 16
