Here are the answers :)
Explanation:
13. An elephant once formed a bond with human. When a rainstorm struck, the elephant went to him, who lived in a small hut near the forest. He requested if he might put his trunk inside the cabin to keep it out of the rain. The man allowed him to put his trunk. Soon, the elephant moved his head in the hut and hurled the man out stating that his skin was harder and he can stay out. Also there wasn't enough space for both he can only stay in and shelter his fragile skin. The man got angry when he saw elephant's behaviour towards him. The animals in the surrounding forest heard the disturbance and came to see what was wrong.
So, the elephant behaviour provoked a dispute between them.

16. The place was quite a big city in the valley of a mountain. The inhabitants did not have the virtue of mercy in their heart and were a cruel lot. They were ready to do anything for money. Shocking incidents like murder, robbery, pickpocketing were the order of the day. The inhabitants worked as soldiers, money lenders and watchmen in banks/mills/commercial establishments. They had no knowledge of English and it was as though they were content in their own small world of malice and meanness.
17. ‘Anand Siksha Niketan’ got established with eight students on roll. In the course of nine years, the school grew step by step, and from eight, the number increased to 220 students on roll and 800 students in all. The school started receiving both private and government assistance and had 10 volunteer teenage teachers teaching grade 1 to grade 8. The children of the village came voluntarily to All’s school in the afternoon after finishing their chores. What is heartwarming is the fact that Ali’s good work was rewarded as he received help from Babar’s teachers, lAS officers, and Ramakrishna Ashram monks and the school was recognised by the West Bengal State Government and hence students from Baba’s school were eligible to pursue their studies in other schools if the need arose.
18. According to Mara’s narration, the spot was sacred because Hanuman stood there on the day Lakshmana lay in a dead faint in the battle-field at Lanka. Hanuman was guided by divine omens and came to the spot where the king stood, and went up the mountain to find sanjeevini, with which he revived Lakshmana. In the place of the sanjeevini a stream arose and it flowed past the spot where the king stood. Thus, the place was sacred for two reasons. First of all, the great Hanuman came there; secondly, river Veda, originating from the spot where sanjeevini grew, flowed there.
19. Mara treated the fisherman in a harsh way because he caused violence by catching fish in tank and he warned him not to repeat the same as it was the order by the king as well as by Goddess to look after the place peacefully without non-violence. But Mara spoke softly to the visitor and he becomes a solution to his problem by offering water for his fields. But he told that it should happen not according to his wish but according to the laws. Not only did he assured him but also offered food and shelter in his house as a guest. So, we can see that Mara used to behave differently according to the behaviour of the persons.
20. The farmer's wife resolves (decides) to live to take care of her children, 'The harvest of her womb'. She does not want to abandon them to the wind like worm-eaten cotton pods. She, with her all courage, embraces life and teacher her children not to embrace death, but to bravely face life and its struggles.
