on my xiaomi phone i keep getting a notification from playstore to disable a malicious app MATCLI can anyone tell wat to do

Check your app security status

You can check the status of Google Play Protect on your device:

Open your Android device’s Google Play Store app .

Tap Menu Play Protect.

Look for information about the status of your device.

hridim61: i did it shows disable but im not sure whether it really is coz i did not install it...pls help

playstore scan your apps everyday and if there is any app which is harmful for your device it keeps sending notifications.
to get rid of that notificatiion u should disable that app.

hridim61: there is no such app found on my phone....still playstore keeps notifying me
