Given

sx^{2} = px . pq

=> sx .sx = px.pq

=> \frac{sx}{pq} = \frac{px}{sx}

∵ pq= sr

=>  \frac{sx}{sr} = \frac{px}{sx}

∠pxs = ∠rsx (alternate angle)

so sx/sr = px/sx  and ∠pxs = ∠rsx

=> Δpxs is similar to  Δxsr
