Answer:

ANSWER = ₹18.35

Step-by-step explanation:

A LABOURER ONE DAY EARNING = ₹125

OUT OF THIS, HE SPENT MONEY ON FOOD =

= 69 1/2 = 139/2

HE SPENT MONEY ON TEA = 20 3/4 = 83/4

HE SPENT MONEY ON OTHER EATABLES =

= 16 2/5 = 82/5

TOTAL MONEY USED IN EATABLES = 139/2+83/4+82/5

SO, TO MAKE THE DENOMINATOR SAME OF THE THREE FRACTIONS, WE HAVE TO ITS LCM.

LCM OF 2,4,5 IS 20.

= 139*10/2*10+83*5/4*5+82*4/5*4

= ₹(1390/20+415/20+328/20) = ₹2133/20 = ₹106.65

SAVINGS OF THAT DAY =

EARNING MONEY- SPENT MONEY

= ₹(125 - 106.65) = ₹18.35

SAVINGS OF THAT DAY IS ₹18.35
