On our way back from the airport, we stopped our car by the side of a lake. The view was breathtaking .We decided to halt there for a few moments to imbibe the beauty of the place. The lake water was crystal clear and appearing like a huge mirror set horizontally in which the surroundings were casting their reflection.
The lake stretched for a couple of miles; there were beautiful mountains beyond its farther edge; the mountains were covered with sylvan trees; beyond the green mountains were taller mountains whose white peaks looked ethereal. The reflection of the mountains and the clear blue sky made it appear as if the same mountains were in the lake upside down.
The beauty and serenity of the place filled us with tranquility. We did not want to leave that spot; but we had to as we had to reach our destination before the night fall.
