• The Aravalli is an old mountain range in the northwestern side of India and further of which lies the great Indian Thar desert. And it runs approx 692 km in the southwest direction. Starting near, Delhi, Haryana, and ending in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

• It is the highest mountain range of the Himalayan ranges and is separated by the trans-Himalayas and in the center, the fault lies in the north. The entire range lies within the Pakistan, China, India, Nepal, and Tibet.
