Gas a = CO2 ( Carbon Dioxide )

Solution b = CaOH ( Calcium Hydroxide ).

Compound formed = CaCO3 ( Calcium Carbonate )

Reaction : CO2 + Ca (OH )2 ---> CaCO3 + H2O

If CaOH reacts with chlorine gas to form c ( CaOCl2 ) ,

Reaction : Ca( OH )2 + Cl2 ---> CaOCl2 + H2O.
