Compound formed = CaCO3 ( Calcium Carbonate )
Reaction : CO2 + Ca (OH )2 ---> CaCO3 + H2O
If CaOH reacts with chlorine gas to form c ( CaOCl2 ) ,
Reaction : Ca( OH )2 + Cl2 ---> CaOCl2 + H2O.
