Three times a number from 10, we got 43

In simple words, 10 minus 3 times a number equals to 43

Solution :-

Let the number be x

According to Question

→ 10 - 3x = 43

→ -3x = 43 - 10

→ -3x = 33

→ x = -33/3

→ x = -11

So, the required number is -11

Can we prove it?

Yeah, we converted that language into mathematical form and for 10 - 3x = 43

We have the value of x as -11

So, solving future

Here, LHS = 10 - 3x

→ 10 - 3 × (-11)

→ 10 - (-33)

→ 10 + 33

→ 43

Here, RHS = 43

RHS = LHS

Hence, proved

Given

  • On reducing three times a number from 10 we get 43

To find

  • The required number.

Solution

  • Let the number be x.

\sf\pink{⟶} In simple words it is said that if a number(x) is subtracting 3 times from 10 then we get 43.

According to the question

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {10 - 3x = 43}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {-3x = 43 - 10}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {-3x = 33}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x = \cancel{\dfrac{33}{-3}}}

\tt:\implies\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {x = -11}

\sf\pink{⟶} Required number = -11

\tt:\implies{10 - 3x = 43}

\tt:\implies{10 - 3(-11) = 43}

\tt:\implies{10 + 33 = 43}

\tt:\implies{43 = 43}
