On rubbing two objects together, they become electrically charged. Where does this charge come from?​

This charge is generated from the sharing of electrons or from the molecule of the body.They experience electrostatic force of attraction

You know that the smallest particle of the world is atom. Atom has some sub - particles know as neutrons , electrons and protons . Neutrons are neutral and Protons are positively charged and both are concentrated at the centre and gives the atom it's mass. Electrons are negatively charged and keeps on revolving around the mass of atom in its orbit . When two objects are rubbed transfer of electrons takes place and this leads to transfer of electrical charge .
