=> gain = x/6. (given)
selling price = rs 7350


we know ,

sp - cp = gain

=> 7350-x = x/6

=> 7350 = x/6+x

=> 7350 = x/6+6x/6. (making denominator equal)

=> 7350 = 7x/6

=> 7350 × 6/7 = x

=> 1050×6 = x

=> rs 6300 = x = cost price

x/6=7350-x
x=6 [7350-x]
x= 44100-6x
7x=44100
