Answer:

Explanation:

Given On seeing with unaided eye , the visual angle of moon at the eye is 0.6 degree. The focal length of the objective and the eye piece of a telescope are respectively 200 cm and 5 cm . What will be the visual angle on seeing moon through the telescope

Given α = 0.6 degree

Visual angle through telescope = β

We know that magnification = focal of objective /focal of eyepiece

                                                   = fo / fe

                                                 = 200 / 5

                                                   = 40

Now M = β / α

Or β = M x α

        = 40 x 0.6

       = 24
