On selling 250 apples, a man loses the selling price of 10 apples find the loss%. Had he them for rupees 650 what would have been the selling price of one apple

= loss on sale of 250 app

so loss per app=₹250/250app

=₹ 1 per app

and sp of each app=250/10

=₹25

so cp/app=25+1=₹26

hence loss%=(26-25)*100/26

=100/26=3.846%

(2)selling 250 app for ₹650 means sp of 1 app=650/250

= ₹ 2.60= ₹ 2 and 60 paisa
