Answer:

Loss = 3.8% and SP for one mango = Rs.2.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Let "x" be the selling price of one mango.

Hence, for the entire transaction of 250 mangoes,

SP = 250x

Loss = 10x

Now,

Loss = CP - SP

10x = CP - 250x

CP = 260x

Loss% = 100*(Loss/CP)

           = 100*(10x / 260x)

           = 100*(0.0384)

           = 3.8

Loss is 3.8%

Now, the man had purchased 250 mangoes for Rs.650. Hence, CP = 650

Also, CP = 260x

=> 260x = 650

=> x = (650/260)

=> x = 2.5

The selling price of one mango is Rs.2.50
