as per data 736 Is obtained by subtracting 8 o/o of cost price from cost
price. let cost price be x.
736=cp-8/100×cp
736=cp (1-0. 08)
736=cp×0. 92
cp=800.
to get 8 o/o profit
sp=cp+8/100×cp
sp=800+8/100×800
sp=800+64
SP=864
