Solution:

Loss is 6% of CP
SP should be 94% of CP

i.e. CP= 4700×100÷94= 5000

to gain 6% More
it must be sold for Rs. 5000 + 6%of 5000 = 5300

S.P=4700 rs.

let C.P be = x rs.

Loss % = 6%

Loss=6x÷100=3x/50

S.P=x-3x/50

4700=47x/50

x=5000 rs.

Profit % req.=6%

profit =6/100×5000

=300 rs.

REQ. S.P=rs.5300
