Hey There!

_______________________________

Note : C.P = Cost Price
S.P = Selling Price.

We know the formula ,

Loss% = \frac{Loss\times100}{C.P}. ..(i)

C.P = \frac{100}{100-Loss\%} × S.P. ...(ii)

According to the Question,

S.P = ₹630

Loss\% = 10\%

Putting values in Formula (ii) ,

C.P =  \frac{100}{100-10} × 630

C.P =  \frac {\cancel{100}}{\cancel{90}}\times630

C.P =  \frac{10}{\cancel{9}}\times{\cancel{630}}

C.P = 10\times70

Therefore, C.P = 700

Therefore, Cost Price of article = ₹700

We can hence, Easily find out cost price of article .
