Here,

  • SP = 1027
  • Loss = 273

→ CP = SP + Loss

→ CP = 1027 + 273

→ 1300

Now,

→ Loss℅ = 273/1300 × 100

→ Loss℅ = 273/13

Loss℅ = 21℅

Hence,

  • the loss percentage is 21℅.
