Let the cost price (CP) of fan = x

According to the question

gain = 1/6 * x = x/6

Hence, selling price (SP) of fan

= x + x/6

= 7x/6

and it's given that

=> 7x/6 = 7350

=> x = 7350 * (6)/7

=> x = 6300

Hence, CP of fan = x = Rs. 6300
