Then , CP = 5000 * 100/125
we got , = 4000.
Given , SP = 5000 and Let the loss be x.
Then the CP = 5000 * 100/(100 - x)
= 500000/(100-x).
Given that he neither gained nor lost .
4000 + 500000/(100 - x) = 10000 (Total SP)
500000/(100 - x) = 6000
6000x = 100000
x = 100/6 %
= 50/3 %
= 16 2/3%.
