on sides AB and DC of rectangle ABCD,points F and E are chosen such that AFCE is a rhombus as shown in a figure.If AB=16cm and BC=12cm,then find EF.explain with method plz.

Take E and F are the mid point of DC and AB respectively
Construction : join FA ,EC ,FE
And BC= 12cm
Therefore EF= 12cm

applying condition for rhombus we get af =12.5
then apply Pythagoras theorem and u will get EF^2 =9^2+12^2 by drawing the diagram correctly
