AnswEr:
• 3x - 4y = 10
• 4x + 3y = 5
3x - 4y = 10 ....[Equation 1]
4x + 3y = 5 ....[Equation 2]
(3x - 4y = 10) × 3
9x - 12y = 30 .....[Equation 4]
(4x + 3y = 5) × 4
16x + 12y = 20 .....[Equation 5]
Substituting the Value of x in Equation 1
Hence, The Value of x is 2 & Value of y is -1.

Answer:
x = 2 & y = - 1
Step-by-step explanation:
Given :
3 x - 4 y = 10
Multiply by 3 we get :
9 x - 12 y = 30
= > 12 y = 9 x - 30 .... ( i )
We have also given :
4 x + 3 y = 5
Multiply by 4 we get :
16 x + 12 y = 20
= > 12 y = 20 - 16 x .... ( ii )
From ( i ) and ( ii ) we get :
= > 9 x - 30 = 20 - 16 x
= > 16 x + 9 x = 20 + 30
= > 25 x = 50
= > x = 2
Putting in x = 2 ( i ) we get :
12 y = 9 x - 30
= > 12 y = 18 - 30 [ x = 2 ]
= > 12 y = - 12
= > y = - 1
Therefore , values of x & y are 2 and - 1 respectively.
