Solve the following simultaneous equations.

3x - 4y = 10
4x+3y=5​

(i) *3 is subtracted from (ii) *4

9x - 12y = 30

+ 16x +12y = 20

----------------------------

25x = 50

x = 2

therefore, replacing value of x in (ii), we get

8 + 3y =5

3y = -3

y = -1
