C.I.=P[(1+100r)n−1]

=P[(1+10020)2−1]

=P[(56)2−1]

=P[2536−25]

C.I=2511P

S.I=100P×20×2=52P

Given

C.I−S.I=Rs. 48

⇒2511P−52P=48

⇒2511P−10P=48

⇒P=25×48

⇒P=Rs. 1200.
