If 13 out of 20 are male then multiply 20 by 5 which equals to 100 and multiply 13 by 5 which equals to 65. so there are 65 males. for females minus 65 from 100 which equals to 35. So, there are 35 females in the restaurant.

Hi friend!

<marquee direction="right" behavior="alternate"><big><big><b>Answer:</b></big></big></marquee>

No. of males =
 \frac{13}{20} \times 100
No. of females =
(1 - \frac{13}{20} ) \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{20 - 13}{20} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{7}{20} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{700}{20} = \frac{70}{2} \\ \\ = 35 \: women
