Net yardage = -26 \frac{1}{2} = -\frac{53}{2}

Yardage required for first down = 10

Yardage needed in next match = 10-(- \frac{53}{2} )=10+\frac{53}{2}= \frac{20+53}{2} = \frac{73}{2}=\boxed{36 \frac{1}{2} }

So they have to get 36 \frac{1}{2}  yardage on their next play to get a first down.
