The electron configuration is t⁴₂g, e²g.

It is normally achieved after splitting of the d- orbital for octahedral species.

if Δ0 < P, then the complex is a high spin complex formed by the association of weak field ligand with metallic ion.  

Then, the 4th electron will enter in the e_{g} orbital and the electronic configuration will be:

t^{3}_{2}g  e^{3}_{g}
