insulators have very high resistance but conductors have very low resistance
for example silver is a good conductor bcoz it's resistance is very low

on the basis of electrical resistance means the more resistance of the material is the insulator and the less resistance is good conductor ..
like a wood is the bad conductor or ( insulator) of electricity cause its resistance is very high .
and the aluminium rod has low resistance so it is a good conductor of electricity
