rutherford tested the presence of subatomic particles by a gold foil experiment
he passed alpha rays through the gold foil n he observed that 75% of the rays were passing the foil as it is then 23% were going making certain angles n the remaining were coming back
he discovered the presence of nucleus and the sub atomic particles present in nucleus called protons .
