On the basis of temperature, Earth has been divided into 3 main parts.

1). Torrid Zone -> it is close to the equator due to which, this zone experiences high temperature. Sun rays directly hit to this zone making it hotter than other zones.

2). Temperate Zone -> It is the middle zone. It experiences normal temperature. Neither too hot nor too cold.

3). Frigid Zone -> It is the coldest zone. It is situated at the poles.

All these zones are present in Norther and Southern hemisphere. That means, all these zones are in Northern hemisphere as well as in Southern hemisphere. (making it total 6 zones)

I hope it will help you...

Thank you! :)
