is the pH value of an acid is greater than 3 then it is a neutral acid and if the pH value is greater than 7 then it is a basic salt solution

Hey dear,

● Identification of salt by pH -
- pH is a logarithmic scale used to specify the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution.
- Ti check acidity/basicity of salt we need to know pH of salt soln which can be found out by litmus paper or phenolpthalein indicator.
- According to pH,
pH < 7 => acidic salt
pH = 7 => neutral salt
pH > 7 => basic salt

Hope this helps you...
