On the Moon g is 1.6N/kg.
An object weighs 10N on Earth.
What would it weigh on the Moon?

Gravity at earth is 10 N/kg

so the mass of the object is

m = w ÷ g

= 10 ÷ 10

= 1 kg

So weight in moon will be

w = mg

 = 1 × 1.6

= 1.6 N
