On the playground you overhear an adult tell a child that jumping rope is only for girls. How would you address the situation?

This situation should be handled very calmly.

Nothing much can be done about it since everyone is entitled to their own opinion and even though it may be a wrong thought, the person can only be politely made aware of it.

The person can logically be given examples of how this disparity between girls and boys is diminishing.

Skipping rope is an essential regime of exercise for athletes, be it boys or girls.

This fact can be told to the person and then left to wonder what a fool he is, in today’s liberated world.
