Answer: for liquids and gases the answer is brownian motion.

Explanation: For gases- If you ever observe a window from which light is coming, you will observe that the dust particles move randomly and collide with each other. For liquids-- Put some pollen grains in a glass of water and then observe them from a microscope. You will see that the pollen grains are moving continuously because of the particles of water.
