On what basis the states are divided in india??

India divided into 29 states 'cause if India was one state then it could be difficult to rule. Population level of India is so high that democracy can't rule in one states.

Many states were divided on language basis and many were divided on population basis.

Dividing states made easy for India to develop and states had their own CMs to look after for everything.
