To detect the photosynthesis process, we first need to remove the leaf's chlorophyll using spirit. After removing the chlorophyll from the leaf, we have to do Iodine test on the leaf, i.e., we have to put 2-3 drops of dilute iodine solution on the leaf.

The leaf would turn Blue-Black, which shows the presence of Starch in the leaf. Hence, we can detect the Photosynthesis Process.
